As a Reptile lover I have to mention their importance in the wild and why we should rehabilitate them as well. Reptiles play many roles in our environment including:

1)Being important in the food web as predator and prey
2) Seed Despersers
3) Pollinator
4)They act as a natural eliminator for insects, crabs and other animals who pose a threat to farmers crops.
5) Help with reduction of rodents
Reptiles have survived longer than mammals and are incredible creatures too. All life is to be valued. I get so upset when people make a point to go off the road to run over snakes. I believe that animals that have survived for millions of years should have respect too.
